Disable Popups When Connecting Handheld Recorder

Overview

When DSS Player is installed, "Device Detector 3" is also installed and runs in the background to automatically start DSS Player when the recorder is connected to a PC via a USB interface.

Solution

After right-clicking the Device Detector3 icon in the system tray (by the clock) choose Settings.  Uncheck the box beside the DSS Player screen and click OK.

After that, the DSS Player will not prompt you anymore when you connect the handheld.
