How do I Change my Default Settings in the IDC?

Answer / Solution

How to Change your Default Settings in the IDC

Overview

With the InfraWare Dictation Client, you have several options in which you may customize your User Settings to suit your Preferences

Solution

To Change your Default Acoustic Profile

  1. On the InfraWare Dictation Client Main Page, Select the Settings tab and then click on the User Settings option.
  1. On the User Settings screen, select My Preferences tab.
  1. On the My Preferences screen, select the Default Acoustic Profile drop-down box and select the
acoustic profile that suits your current recording application.
  1. Click Save Defaults to save your changes and to exit My Preferences

Note: It is very important that you change your Acoustic Profile each time you change recording device.

We do not advise that you attempt to record dictations from your Laptop under your Home Computer Acoustic Profile as doing so will compromise your recording quality and may jeopardize your recording entirely.
