How can I insert 2nd level eSign information when it is chosen dynamically?

Answer / Solution

Insert Dynamic 2nd Level eSign User Information

Summary

When setting up dual eSign, the InfraWare platform gives you the ability to allow the MT to choose the 2nd level eSign user while they are transcribing the job in the InfraWare Transcription Client (ITC). The following KB article gives more information on that feature: KB274.

Overview

The Insert Dynamic 2nd Level  eSign user Information feature takes the user who is chosen in the InfraWare Transcription Client (ITC) for 2nd level eSign user and adds information to the document in regards to that choice. It allows you to place up to eight different 2nd level eSign fields on the document. These fields are added from the InfraWare Template Editor (ITE) when you are setting up the template. The fields are as follows:

  • Last, First
  • First Last
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Middle Initial
  • Suffix
  • Title
  • Initials

Requirements

Install Template Editor (ITE). Please see (KB222) for more details.

Tasks:

These items can be inserted from the InfraWare Template Editor (ITE) (Version 5.2.24.1 or later of ITE 2011) by following these steps:

  • Insert --> Document Fields --> eSign-off --> Dynamic Level 2 Information --> Choose the field you want to insert.

Once these fields are added to the template, whenever a MT chooses the 2nd Level eSign user, the fields will be populated based off of information for that user. This data can be used for the base document or also can be used for an EMR who is receiving the outputted document as input.
