How do I set a Custom Background Color in the ITC?

Answer / Solution

What is Custom Background Color in the ITC?

Overview

The InfraWare Transcription Client (ITC) allows you to customize the default background color of the ITC Editor to meet your needs. The User Settings page allows you to set the default color.

Solution

To change your preferences in the Editor User Settings screen, just follow the quick, easy steps below:

  1. Press F10 or from the ITC Main Window, select the Settings menu, select the User Settings option, and then select the Edit User Settings from the drop-down menu.
  2. Click on the Editor tab. The screen below will appear.
  3. Check the box next to the Custom background color option.
  4. Click on the box next to the Custom background color option.
  5. Select the color option from the Basic Colors or click on Define Custom Colors to create your own.  Click OK to save the color.
  6. Click Save to Save this to the User Settings.  The next job opened will use this new background color.

Note

  • If the Background color option is changed from the User Settings while in the ITC Editor, the new background color will be used on the next job opened in the Editor.
  • Changing the background color from the Format menu will only impact the currently open job and will not persist.
