What is the option to Revert to non-editing rate if draft discarded impact pay calculation?

Answer / Solution

Revert to Non-editing Rate Explained

Overview

There are several ways for the First Draft output to be discarded.  Pay Models include the added ability to set whether the pay calculations for an MT will revert to non-editing rate if the draft is discarded.

  • Discarded by MT:
    • The Transcriptionist manually discards the draft with Alt + D in the ITC - KB573
  • Discarded by Admin:
    • Re-queue Job for First Draft - KB739
  • Discarded by Worfklow:
    • Document ID Queue Auto Release - KB425
    • When a First Draft job goes to a non-editor with the Account setting to Drop First Draft - KB532
    • First Draft jobs are available to non-editors when turn-around time approaches - KB533

See KB737 for additional details on discarded drafts.

Steps

  1. Log in to the IMC at www.InfraWare.com/IMC.
  2. Select Pay Models on the Administration tab.

  3.
  4. Click the Administration tab, and select the Pay Models sub-tab.
  5. Click on a pay model from the list to open an existing model, or click on New Pay Model to create a new one.
  6. Click on the option to "switch to advanced"
  7. New options will be available, including the option to "revert to non-editing rate if draft discarded"
  8. Check the box to set the pay model to revert and then click Save.
