Is there a limit to how long an Author can dictate or pause when dictating via TDS?

Answer / Solution

Dictation & Pause Limit When Dictating Via TDS

When an Author is dictating via InfraWare's Telephone Dictation System (TDS) there is a 2-hour connection limit per dictation.  Basically, when a new dictation is started a 2-hour countdown timer is started.  When that limit is reached the dictation will be saved and the call disconnected.  When a dictation is saved and a new dictation started, that countdown timer is reset each time.  This allows an Author to stay connected indefinitely, as long as they never exceed 2 hours between dictations.
