Why do I get an error "Application Could Not Be Started" when I try to launch the Online Editor?

Answer / Solution

Enabling .NET features in Windows

Summary

InfraWare's Online Editor requires .NET components to be installed and enabled in order for it to function.  Sometimes the Online Editor could be installed, but may not be able to launch because some components aren't enabled.

Tasks

  • Open Control Panel from the Windows Start Menu
  • Select Programs and Features
  • On the left hand pane, click on 'Turn Windows Features On or Off'
  • On the Windows Features popup, find any instances of .NET Framework, and make sure that all features are checkmarked.
  • Click OK
  • After the features are installed, you should be able to launch the Online Editor
